Jen, Happy Memorial Day, you know a lot of people have been thinking about you and praying for the strength to go on. Happy 20th Birthday!!! I'll bet you met up with my brother and he and Lisa cooked you up a wonderful cake and Bryan helped you blow out all those candles. I was on a plane last week thinking of you and how that was as close to heaven as I was going to get until the day God wants me. I pray for you and Bryan and for the pain your parents are going through. Your mom is getting ready to let go so you can watch over her and keep her in check when she tries to make impulsive moves lol. I'll be here to help her here whenever she needs me. There's never a time when we're supposed to bury our kids but you were one lucky angel for God to want you so badly. I know that in my heart and soul. God Bless you and Happy 20th Birthday. I'm sure Jesus poured you a glass of wine so you could celebrate (He's famous for that lol). God Bless you sweetie and Bryan too. We all love you, even those of us who never met you. We'll see you when we get to the other side.

I first want to send my condolences on your tragic loss, I fully understand how it feels to lose someone so near and dear to your heart, I lost my 18 year old sister Vanessa on November 5,2005 without any warning. She passed away of unknow causes just overnight....So i know ur pain, I send u my love with all my heart

Words Can not express the grief that our
families are going thru.  
Though we never met prior to that dreadful night, 
I knew that Jennifer  found the perfect family.
When I would talk to her on the phone, 
almost daily,  I knew exectly where she would be!
I knew that the Dunlap Family Loved and was 
taking care of Jennifer.  Not only did 
Bryan Love Jennifer, But Barbara had been 
praying for a girl like her.  Bryan Sr. liked her 
spunky attitude, and Amanda found a best friend.
I was so happy that our baby girl  was finally 
growing up and becoming a woman. I started 
having dreams of a beautiful girl walking down
 the aisle with her "Pappy" in her wedding dress.  
I was having dreams of taking off work just to 
be there so see our new grandchildren be born. 
I remember talking to Bryan on the phone 
and I could tell by the things  he said, 
that he really did LOVE Jennifer and would take 
care of her.  He called her "My SWEETHEART".
 I remember talking  to Barbara on the phone 
a few times and I knew that she loved Jennifer. 
I remember the day that Bryan had on his Cowboy 
and Horse halloween costume and I was talking to Jennifer on the phone after she sent me the picture 
via phone mail, Bryan was in the background singing,
 "SAVE A HORSE, RIDE A COWBOY".  I remember 
the story about Amanda's Ruby Red Slippers 
she had on with her Dorothy Costume and about Jennifer telling her that she COULD wear a 
"Dorothy" dress that short.  And now that 
Bryan and Jennifer are Together Forever. 

Today, I know a family that loves her.

                                 GOD'S LENT CHILD

I’ll lend you for a little while a child of mine, God said,

For you to love the while she lives, and mourn for when she’s dead.

It may be six or seven years, or forty two or three,

But will you, ‘til I call her back, take care of her for me?

She’ll bring her charms to gladden you. And should her stay be brief,

You’ll always have your memories as solace in your grief.

I cannot promise she will stay, since all from earth return,

But there are lessons taught below I want this child to learn.

I’ve looked this whole world over in my search for teachers true,

And from the folk that crowd life’s lane, I have chosen you.

Now will you give her all your love and not think the labour vain,

Nor hate me when I come to take this lent child back again.

I fancy that I heard them say, ‘Dear God Thy will be done’,

For all the joys this child will bring, the risk of grief we’ll run.

We will shelter her with tenderness, we’ll love her while we may,

And for all the happiness we’ve ever known, we’ll ever grateful stay.

But should the angels call her much sooner than we’d planned,

We will brace the bitter grief that comes and try to understand.
